CEVA Biomune
Jacobs/Wyper designed a new vaccine facility at CEVA Biomune's headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas. The facility will be two stories; the first floor will house production and utility functions, and the second floor will house an employee support area, offices, quality control laboratories, mechanical areas, and future expansion space. This project was completed in April 2011.

Jacobs/Wyper Architects, LLP is leading the architectural design team for the addition of a new vaccine facility to CEVA Biomune's headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas. Working with engineering and construction firm SNC Lavalin, JWA designed a technologically complex, two-story facility with several program areas. The first floor will house production and utility functions, while the second floor will be composed of an employee support area, offices, quality control laboratories, mechanical areas, and future expansion space. The construction budget is $15 million, with a total square footage of 53,000 square feet.
Construction began on the new production facility in early 2010. As of late March, the steel framing on the building was nearing completion, and the stairwell and elevator shaft masonry work was complete. The expansion was completed in April of 2011.
