This 289,000 sf project for the research and development of prospective pharmaceutical products was constructed for approximately $80 million. The facility is composed of three components - a 123,000 sf pharmaceutical R&D function in a renovated warehouse; a 2-story, 72,000 sf Swedish-manufactured modular addition; and a 94,000 sf, 3- story office building linked to existing buildings. The R&D portion will include laboratories, pilot plant and support areas for the manufacture and study of clinical supplies. All future drugs for the company will pass through this facility during clinical trials.
