Chrissy Hartman

IIDA, NCIDQ / Principal - Interior Design

Workplace Education Cultural & Museums

Interior design is about more than aesthetics for their own sake. As Chrissy sees it the design of interior spaces can have a profound positive impact on entire organizations and communities who use it. Seeing people’s daily lives changed for the better is the most rewarding part of the work.

As Principal of JacobsWyper’s Interior Design Department Chrissy guides the team in finding solutions to fit a client’s needs, effective workplace strategies, and overall great conceptual design that work both functionally and aesthetically.

Chrissy has 20 years of experience in commercial interior design specializing in corporate, education, healthcare, multi-family housing and hospitality design. With a deep knowledge of design, products, materials and construction she is a trusted resource for material and furniture selection.

Chrissy credits her father, a carpenter and custom homebuilder, as early inspiration for her career path. As she accompanied him on build sites and learned how to draw floor plans, she found new ways to express her innate creativity in built environments.

In her spare time Chrissy loves taking on home improvement projects, owns three properties and is “always changing something.” And to really get away from it all? “Relaxing to me is going to the beach.”
