The space was designed in a way to maximize natural light as well as maximize flexibility.  The overhead grid supplies power, data and compressed air to the mobile casework below, and also acts as support for motion capture cameras and specialty lighting. The IDEAS Hub can be enlarged or divided with the utilization for folding glass partitions, allowing for classes to be taking place in one end of the space while students continue to build and test robotics at the other end.  The Hub represents true flexibility in an attractive and functional space.
