2021: Our Commitment for a New Year

newyear2021

2020 was a year to remember. As we begin not only a new year, but a new decade in which we will celebrate our 40th anniversary, we would like to thank our clients, partners, and team members. You really make us proud!

We began 2020 with the launch of a new website.  Building this new external identity forced us to reflect on who we are and where we are going. Little did we know the change that was to come.

As we took a step back and looked at all we achieved over many years and many projects we discovered that we are in the business of transformation. Together with our clients and partners, we envision spaces where people are freed to work more productively, make discoveries, and live healthier and more joyful lives. This quickly took on more importance than we could have ever imagined as we watched the world come together to understand a new normal. We hope to do our small part by helping people return to shared spaces over the next year.

We value and develop long-term partnerships with clients across a broad range of industries and institutions. By leveraging the design intelligence of the group, and making connections across industries and disciplines, we see farther than any of us could alone. That’s how innovation happens. We are in awe of the innovation we have witnessed within our client group. Our clients pivoted quickly and effectively to contribute to something bigger and maintain needed continuity in an uncertain time, while asking what have we learned and how can we make the future better.

We discovered that as a collective of creative thinkers and problem solvers we love what we do. And we work not just for the love of architecture and design, but to satisfy our calling to improve the quality of life in our communities, both today and for the necessity of a sustainable future.

With this our work is just beginning. Now more than ever we must understand where and how we can have an impact. We must ask ourselves the tough questions and be willing to learn, grow and change. With this new decade we recommit to this process and the responsibility of our chosen profession.  Please hold us accountable.

Best wishes for the New Year,
