Building a Museum Creative Incubator
Wednesday, February 27, 2019 | 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Museums building projects opening in the next five years will face an environment of changing technologies, funding, and demographics. In response, museums are creating engagements that  will provide greater value for audiences and societal impact. This spurs the need for different and  new types of space, such as creative incubators. In this hands-on workshop, we will use the New  Museum’s NEW INC cultural incubator as a model to explore strategies, designs, and the pitfalls of planning and running creative incubators. Panelists with real-world experience will provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of creative incubators, actionable plans, and physical space requirements.
Note: Pre-registration is required; fee $50.00.

Visit MAAM’s website for more information and the full program of events. We hope to see you at Building Museums 2019!
