UArts Makerspace

The Albert M. Greenfield Makerspace is a renovated sculpture-studio building turned into a high-tech fabrication studio that gives students use of a state-of-the-art laser cutter, 3D printer, and other digtal machinery alongside more traditional workshop equipment. The space is intended for all disciplines in order to bring together students, faculty, staff and practitioners to collaborate on innovative projects. The MakerSpace will be an integral part of the UArts student experience for both visual and performing arts studies. It is also intended to support market-oriented product development.
