Comprehensive Basis of Design to expand an existing manufacturing facility for continuous milling of potent compounds. The BOD consists of: facility design, development of an overall master plan, design of the process and 17’ long isolator to contain it, an environmental permitting strategy and validation master plan. Afterwards, JacobsWyper implemented the design plan and proceeded with the facility expansion.
Other support features include equipment wash, enlarged locker rooms, PPE storage and production offices. The continuous process is designed for commercial-scale production of 40-150 metric tons per year with a containment limit of 33 ng/m3 over 12 hours.
