This major renovation was developed around the Living Office concept, promoting connection, creativity and enhanced productivity in the workplace. A dramatic, two-story open office area was created by carving out a portion of the second floor. Collaborative team areas, individual focus booths, comfortable chairs and sofas, touchdown stations and coffee kiosks are located throughout the main floor. Full-height glass partitions separate conference rooms and the cafeteria from the office area, reinforcing the culture of transparency and openness. The result is fresh and inspiring, offering opportunities for collaboration as well as privacy. A redesigned façade incorporating a self-tinting, electrochromic glass saves energy and provides unobstructed landscape views from both floors. Reclaimed white oak, kirei grass dividers and stone-like tile contribute to the modern rustic design. The renovation also includes the expansion of warehouse and packaging areas, and new laboratories and equipment for in-house production. The project was completed without the interruption of office or manufacturing operations.
